Pour ceux qui n'arrivent pas à suivre la production éléctro tant, rien qu'Aphex Twin en pond un à chaque fois que Sarkozy use d’opportunisme (sans rapport direct pourtant) ou pour ceux à qui cette même éléctro parle peu sauf dans sans branche « musique naïve », voici encore un coup en plein dans le cœur de l’île du bout du monde, cette vielle Islande.
« Mum » est en effet un de ces innombrables groupes de peintres sonores des paysages islandais et puis en plus :
“Based between Reykjavik and Berlin, since their foundation in 1998, múm have forged a gorgeously warm, rich and melodic take on electronica, imprinting it with their own unique sound / character. What sets the band apart from so many of their peers is both their strong, melodic vocals, and warm, bold integration of both analogue and digital technologies. Playing an assortment of instruments alongside some crisply programmed electronic washes, beats and bleeps, the band’s musical talent is immediately audible.”
